Gavin Oak-Lee Reed is a 22-year-old award-winning actor, cinematographer, writer, and director based in and around Louisville, KY. With experience in front of and behind the camera, he is a versatile collaborator who is fully committed to the art of storytelling.

Most recently, Gavin won two awards for his cinematography on the film "TOAST" (2023 Ohio Valley Chapter Student Emmys and the 2023 Highbridge Film Festival) and Best Actor for the second year in a row at the Highbridge Film Festival.

In 2021, Gavin worked as a video logger for the Tokyo Summer Olympic Games.

In addition to film, Gavin also has experience directing and acting for the stage. For the last 2 years he has co-directed Friday Night Live, a sketch comedy and improv show. In 2021, he wrote, directed, produced and acted in an original ten minute play.

 

When not on set or on stage, he enjoys drumming and bartending.
